A Russian man met the love of his life at the moment he was about to kill himself.
Andriej Ivanov, 26 - whose fiancee died the day before their wedding - had planned to throw himself off a bridge but found love again with a girl who was about to jump to her death from the same spot.
Andriej spotted Maria Petrova, 21, climbing the railings of the bridge after being thrown out by her parents for falling pregnant.
He said: "Something in my heart snapped and I couldn't let her do it. I shouted and ran over to her. She fell into my arms sobbing. We held each other and talked. That night saved my life - and hers."
The couple are now engaged and plan to get married next year.
