A British couple converted a disused public toilet into a beautiful home with sea views.
Tracy Woodhouse and her partner Graham Peck spotted hidden potential in an abandoned Victorian lavatory in the seaside town of Scarborough, so spent $52,000 on renovations to create an enviable home with a difference.

Graham, 55, said: "It's the perfect spot, especially for a Bank Holiday - people flock to Scarborough's beach but that's right in front of our bay window."
The former public convenience, which is now called The Lookout, has since been put on the map as it's the only building on the promenade.
Tracy added: "Some people joke about it. They'll say things like, 'Oh yes, you're the couple who live in a lavatory'."
The final Curious © phrase:
“Psychiatry's chief contribution to philosophy is the discovery that the toilet is the seat of the soul.”
